We are Lori and Wayne Brown, a wife and husband team from London, Ontario. We love to take photos be it animals, scenery, portraits and especially sports. We have found sports to be the most challenging and therefore the most gratifying. We have both enjoyed the thrill after capturing that story telling moment.
Lori has been into photography since she was 10 years old. Photography has always been her passion. She has done family portraits, weddings, graduations and of course sports. She can honestly remember the first photo she took of her dad and dog. She purchased her first pro camera, an entirely manual, used Minolta in 1982. A few years later she purchased two new Minolta 7000's and a couple of pro lenses as she started to work semi-professionally as a wedding photographer. She switched to Digital in 2003 with a Canon Rebel 300 and later a Nikon D70.
Wayne is a newcomer to photography. Until 2003 he worked as a videographer before trying his hand at still photography. He started off small with a compact digital before moving to a Canon Rebel 300. His passion is sports which he hopes shows through in his photographs.
In 2005 we decided to take our "hobby" to the next level and have accomplished a lot in a short time. Our first highlight was being asked to work with the London Silverbacks. A major highlight was being two of the three official photographers for the 2005 World Kickboxinng Championships in Niagara Falls, Canada. It was a wonderful experience, meeting and photographing people from all over the world. No one had ever taken action photos at a World Championships before. Another highlight was meeting Joe Scully of the NAPC Extreme Rodeo Circuit. Through him we were able to take photos of the Championship Finals in London on December 30, and December 31.
As of 2005 we have taken more than 70,000 photos. We have shot baseball, football, karate, kickboxing, hockey, lacrosse, motocross, stock car racing, soccer, basketball, volleyball, dog agility, highland games and all rodeo events.
